Chinese beef imports from Brazil reached their highest levels ever in recent months, hovering around 170,000 tons. Consequently, by October 2025, they accounted for half of the total (1.2 million tons).
Argentine ranked second with more than 400,000 tons, while Australia, with a smaller volume, but as a result of a greater participation in the chilled meat sector, a fact in which the trade war with the United States contributed, disputes that place in terms of value.
These three origins account for 80 percent of the tonnage entering the Chinese market in the first ten months of 2025.
